Two people were arrested on drug charges in Cherokee County on Thursday.
Jacksonville resident Randall Boozer, age 29, was arrested on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia and Jonathan McGatha, age 39 of Piedmont was also charged with the Possession of both Methamphetamine, and Drug Paraphernalia in addition to Failure to Appear/Comply Pay. Both were booked in at the Cherokee County Detention Center shortly after 5:00pm – where they currently remain, with bond for Boozer having been set at $4,500 and for McGatha, at $3,400.
Both were arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office.
