MS. Marie Jane Bobbitt, age 70 of Piedmont, passed away Wednesday November 17th, 2021.

A graveside service will be held 10AM Friday November 19th, at Mt. Olive 1st Congregational Methodist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Danny Steele, Kevin Bobbitt, Scott Brumbeloe, Seth Adams, Gene Downey, and Timothy Bobbitt.

Ms. Bobbitt was survived by her sister Kaye Crane; nieces and nephews, Tina (Scott) Brumbeloe, David Crane, Danny (Erica) Steele, Kevin (Julie) Bobbitt, Jennifer (Seth) Adams, and Timothy (Heather) Bobbitt; numerous greats and great great nieces and nephews also remain along with her furbaby, Josh.

She was preceded in death by her brother Milous “Buster” Bobbitt; sister, Faye Steele; niece, Naoma Crane. 

Marie was the daughter of the late Paul Harold Bobbitt and Alma Mozelle Eubanks Bobbitt and also was a Member of Mt. Olive 1st Congregational Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Mt. Olive 1st Congregational Methodist Church.
