A “Hit and Run” accident took place Wednesday in Cherokee County.
According to an Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report, a female resident of Cedar Bluff reported that her Toyota was struck by another vehicle, with the other driver immediately leaving the scene of the accident.
Fortunately the driver of the Toyota escaped injury.
That mishap occurred on Alabama Highway 9 shortly before 4:00pm.
The matter remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
