Very little information has been released but Gadsden Police are saying investigators DO believe a fatal shooting last Friday night (October 29th) was an isolated incident. The shooting occurred around 8:10pm, in the 1100 block of Tuscaloosa Avenue – and the Gadsden Times has stated that a 34 year old woman, by the name of Lauri Mahan, was the victim.
Sgt. Marcus Hill stated that “All parties involved in the incident have been identified,” – adding that police are still investigating. Hill also said the incident does not pose an on-going safety concern to the community
