James Kevin Weaver, 45 of Centre, was arrested in Cave Spring this week after police said a traffic stop turned up drugs.
Police said that they stopped Weaver for a headlight violation at the Sunco on Gadsden Road when they detected a marijuana odor from inside.
A search then resulted in officers finding marijuana, methamphetamine and hypodermic needles.
Weaver is charged with possession of meth, possession of marijuana, a headlight violation, a tag light violation and defective equipment.
