Reynolds wraps up Trojans’ regular season with 216 yards, 4 TDs rushing in win at ASD

TALLADEGA – Gaylesville senior running back Michael Reynolds accumulated 216 yards on 13 carries and scored four touchdowns. He also registered three tackles for loss and had a fumble recovery from his linebacker position in leading the Trojans to a 52-14 football win at Alabama School for the Deaf on Friday night.

Junior fullback Keylon Higgins added 90 yards and two scores on just six carries. He also had four tackles, including two for loss, and forced a fumble.

Senior running back Jacob Gordon collected 41 yards on five carries. Eighth grader Hayes Garmon also had a rushing touchdown, and eighth grade lineman Karrson Ray had a fumble recovery.

The Trojans wrap up the regular season at 6-4 and will travel to Wadley for the first round of the Class 1A state playoffs on Friday.
