Walmart has announced that all store locations will be closing for Thanksgiving Day, on November 25th, as a “thank you” to their associates for their continued hard work during the pandemic.
This marks the second year in a row the retailer has closed stores on Thanksgiving in order to give time back to associates.
Walmart stated throughout the pandemic it has placed a heavy emphasis on the well-being of its associates. The company also expanded its access to no-cost counseling – and had extended its COVID-19 Emergency Leave policy through September 30th.
Stores will operate regular hours on Wednesday, November 24th.
