Alabama State Troopers responded to two accidents involving injuries in our area on Thursday; the first was a four-vehicle wreck in Etowah County at approximately 7:30 that morning on Plemmons Road.
The mishap involved a 2003 Honda, with the driver and a passenger, both from Boaz, being transported for treatment; the female driver of a 2011 Chevrolet, listed on the report as a resident of Guntersville, was also hurt. The other vehicles involved were a 2019 Volvo and a 2020 Nissan. Neither of those drivers was injured, and both were listed as being from the Gadsden area.
In DeKalb County, a single-vehicle accident on County Road 52 sent one person to the hospital. That crash occurred at 10:30am and involved a 2020 VW. The female driver, a resident of Geraldine, was transported for treatment.
Both wrecks remain under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
