One person was transported to Floyd-Cherokee Medical Center for treatment following a two vehicle accident involving an 18 wheeler and a minivan on Monday afternoon.
The accident took place just outside of Centre between Midway Storage and County Road 65.
Centre Police, Centre Firefighters and Floyd EMS responded to the scene.
There was no additional information available regarding the condition if the person injured.
One lane of traffic was blocked for a brief period of time as crews worked to clear both vehicles from the scene.
