Tina Marie Whorton, age 57 of Centre, passed away Thursday, October
7th at her residence.

Funeral services will be 2:PM Sunday, October 10th at Perry Funeral
Home Chapel, with Rev. Michael Roach and Rev. James Wells officiating;
burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Ellisville. The family will
receive friends from 6 until 8:PM Saturday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers include Jackson Wells, Luke Wells, Brandon Whorton, Dustin
Whorton, Murdoch Ruth, Brandon Roach.

Survivors include a special friend, Billy Ray Pierce; special
daughter, Leann Shuler of Centre; mother, Brenda Joyce Whorton of
Centre; brothers, Buddy Charles Whorton of Marietta, GA, Jeffrey Scott
(Sherri) Whorton of Rockmart, GA; sister, Belinda Charlene Whorton
Weems of Centre; 6 nieces and nephews; 10 great nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Hershel and Odessa Whorton
and William and Hazel Goss.

Ms. Whorton was a native of Cherokee County, the daughter of the late
Charles Lee Whorton, she was a Nurse Technician and was of the Baptist
faith.
