We had reports of an 18 wheeler accident occurring just after 11:00 this morning on Highway 278 near Cherokee County Road 45. Early indications were that the driver was not injured. According to reports this was a tanker type truck possibly carrying grain.
The Spring Garden Fire Department, Piedmont Rescue, Cherokee County EMA and Alabama State Troopers were called to the scene.
