Cherokee County Youth Leadership kicked off their year with a ‘get acquainted day’ at the Cherokee Co Chamber of Commerce offices. Students are pictured with local musician and speaker Chad Steed.
Juniors from each of the five public high schools located in Cherokee County are selected to participate. The program is designed to prepare and build leadership resources within our entire county.
This select group is comprised of young and emerging leaders of the area. They will receive an intense view of civic and governmental leadership through direct contact with a wide spectrum of institutions that keep Cherokee County solvent and moving forward. Youth Leadership Cherokee is a program of the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce. Joy Perry is the director.
