CEDAR BLUFF — The Spring Garden Lady Panthers swept a volleyball tri-match at Cedar Bluff with Gadsden City on Tuesday.

The Lady Panthers defeated Gadsden City 25-17, 25-11 and outlasted Cedar Bluff 25-15, 20-25, 15-5.

In the Gadsden City match, Neely Welsh delivered six kills and four aces. Suzie Carter collected five kills and three aces. Alle Jennings added three kills and two aces. Timi Scoggin had six aces. Abbey Steward posted 11 assists and an ace. Aubrey Sadler came away with a kill. Maggie Jarrett finished with an assist.

Agains Cedar Bluff, Carter came away with six kills, three aces and a block. Welsh and Jennings both contributed four kills and an ace. Scoggin delivered three aces and a dig. Steward managed 14 assists, three aces and a kill. Abbie Woods had two aces and a dig. Sadler added a two kills and Jarrett finished with an assist.

Spring Garden hosts Westbrook Christian on Thursday.
