Mrs. Doris Lee Pope, age 93 of Cedar Bluff, Alabama passed away Monday, October 4, 2021 at the residence of her daughter.

Mrs. Pope was born in Trion, Georgia on November 25, 1927, daughter of the late William T. Brown and Janie Lee Moore Brown.  She was a member of the Cedar Bluff First Baptist Church, where she was active in many church activities, and was a homemaker.  She loved playing cards with her friends and loved flowers.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pope was preceded in death by her husband, Delmas Lionel Pope in 2006, a longtime deacon; sons, Johnny Lee Pope and Jimmy Lionel Pope and a number of brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Pope is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Huggins; grandchildren, Jeff Obeshaw, Dan Pope, Coleman Roe and Will Roe; great grandchildren, Caiden Roe, Bryleigh Roe, Olive Hayes and Willow Hayes; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Pope will be held Thursday, October 7, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. in the Petitt Chapel of the Coffman Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Cosby officiating.  Interment will follow in the Green Hills Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Cole Roe, Will Roe, Jimmy Black and Brent Roe.

Mrs. Pope will be in state at the Coffman Funeral Home and the family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour.
