Centre Fire Chief Jeremy Lee said that firefighters responded to the KTH Plant early Friday morning after it was reported that an air conditioning unit was on fire inside the building.
The Leesburg, Sand Rock and Centre departments responded just after 1:00 a.m.
Lee said that they were able to isolate the fire to the unit and cut it off. Fortunately there was no major damage and no one was injured.
