GADSDEN – The Sand Rock Lady Wildcats swept a volleyball tri-match at Gaston on Monday. They defeated Saks 25-9, 25-9, then beat Gaston in an area match 25-11, 25-7, 25-9.
Lanie Henderson collected 22 kills and a pair of blocks for the Lady Wildcats (28-6). Rylin St. Clair added 62 assists. Katelyn St. Clair contributed 19 kills and nine digs. Jadyn Foster contributed 15 kills, 11 digs, and three aces. Chloe Stephens had nine kills, 10 digs, and five aces. Jacey Stephens came away with seven kills and four aces. Caley Garrett finished with 22 digs.
Sand Rock hosts the Cherokee County Tournament on Saturday.
