Emergency Crews Responded To Three Auto Accident In Cherokee County On Monday

There were three accidents reported across Cherokee County on Monday. The first occurred just after 3:00 p.m. on Highway 411 South near Pine Cone Street in Leesburg, at least one person was reported to have been injured in that accident. Leesburg Police and Leesburg Fire along with Floyd EMS responded to the scene. 

There was a two vehicle accident on West Main Street in front of Sonic in Centre just before 6:00 p.m. Monday evening. Centre Police and Centre Fire/Rescue responded to that scene along with Floyd EMS. There was no information available as to whether anyone was injured in the accident. 

A third accident was reported on County Road 22 near Pruitt’s just after 6:00 p.m., Spring Creek Firefighters and Floyd EMS units responded that scene.
