The northbound lane of Interstate-59 close to the 181 mile marker in Etowah County remained closed as of 12:00noon today (Friday, September 17th) – as State Troopers of the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Highway Patrol Division remained on scene with the investigation of a-single vehicle accident.
A tractor-trailer overturned at approximately 9:50am resulting in partial blockage of the roadway.
