Latest County-by-County COVID-19 Numbers from the ADPH

Alabama added more than 3,500 COVID-19 cases to its total going from Tuesday into Wednesday.

The latest data from the Alabama Department of Public Health showed the state has had 757,893 COVID cases since March 2020 with 3,651 being added to the roll on the Wednesday report.  Alabama also added 66 deaths, bringing that number to 12,784.

It is important to note COVID-related deaths can take up to two weeks to be reported to the ADPH.

Alabama has 2,401 people hospitalized with COVID-19: 2,355 adults and 46 pediatric patients and of those adult patients – 84% are unvaccinated, 4% partially vaccinated and 12% are fully vaccinated.  

The state currently has 1,592 ICU patients for 1,549 staffed ICU beds – 48% of the ICU patients have COVID.  There are 25 pregnant COVID patients hospitalized with two in ICU, and of the 46 pediatric patients hospitalized with the virus, 21 are in the ICU and 7 are ventilated.
