Dovie Hooper Doyal age 83 of Centre passed away Sunday September 5th at her residence.

Funeral services will be 3 PM Thursday September 9th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. George Moses officiating, burial will follow in Cherokee memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 PM Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers include, Billy Hardin, Brian Hardin, Randall Hunter, LaKota Tucker, Eddie Kozer and Gary Chadwick. Honorary pallbearers will be Nathan Chadwick Jr., James Chadwick and Richard Chadwick.

Survivors include daughters, Debra Hardin, Pamela Hunter and Sherry Doyal; 5 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Foster Dennis Doyal; sisters, Myrtle Gossett, Ollie Jarrell, Betty McBrayer, Esther Brovan and Nellie Chadwick.

Mrs. Doyal was a native of Cherokee County and the daughter of the late James Lester and Francis Elizabeth Coursey Hooper and a member of Enon Grove Baptist Church.
