A fire occurring Friday night in the Howell’s Crossroads community totally destroyed a house on County Road 472.
According to homeowner Hubert Perry no one was home at the time of the fire, and it appears no one was hurt in connection with the incident.
It’s unknown at this time what caused the blaze.
