Firefighters were unable to access a skid steer that caught fire on Hog Island in Cedar Bluff on Saturday evening.
Alabama Marine Patrol Officers were notified of the incident at around 5:30 p.m.
There were construction crews working on the island when the fire occurred. No other damage was reported and there were no injuries.
