Funeral service for Mrs. Patricia Joan Reed Chesnut, 62, of Leesburg, will be held at 11 AM on Saturday August 28, 2021 at Glencoe Hokes Bluff Funeral Home with Reverend Joey Hanner officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Saturday at the funeral home from 10 AM until time of the service.

Mrs. Chesnut passed away on Tuesday August 24, 2021.  She is preceded in death by her husband Larry “Dig Em” Chesnut parents, Charles A. and Mary Reed, sisters, Elaine Raley, and Clara Sue Reed, brothers, Sherman Reed, and Arlon Reed.

Left to cherish the memory of Mrs. Chesnut are her dog: Pippa; sisters: Judie Reed, Jeanette Kiser, Verna Henderson (Bobby Joe); brothers: Wayne Reed, and Sherrill Reed (Donna); brother-in-law: John Raley; a host of nieces and nephews; special friends: Katie Moore, and Janice Wilson.

Mrs. Chesnut attended Mt. Tabor Church and was employed at Factory Connection for 25 years.  Patricia was a lover of animals as well as having a great giving heart.  She loved clothes, fashion and her job.  She especially loved children, and her nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be her nephews.
