James Lamar Wright, 76 of Cedar Bluff, passed away Aug. 25, 2021 at Cherokee Village Assisted Living in Centre.
Mr. Wright was born April 17, 1945, the son of the late Lewis and Sarah Elizabeth Gossett Wright of the Oceola community. He was preceded in death by his son, Cory Edward Wright; brothers, Conn Wright, David Wright; and sister, Anne Wright Gowen.
He is survived by son, Scott Wright; former wife, Vicki Mackey Wright; brothers, Richard Wright, Neil Wright; sisters, Leisa (John) Boggs, and Julia (George) Coheley; and many nieces and nephews.
A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
