A 16 year old student at Model High School in Floyd County, Georgia currently stands charged with several weapons violations after administrators discovered a knife and a pistol in his possession at the school.

Apparently there was never any threat, however the incident is being Investigated by the Floyd County Police Department.

The juvenile has been detained by police, pending charges that include two counts of tpossession of a weapon during a crime, two counts of weapon possession in a school zone, underage possession of a handgun and possession of a concealed weapon; that, in addition to possession of a vape.

A loaded 9mm pistol and a hunting knife were confiscated from the teen.

According to a release from Floyd County Schools the student in question admitted to having the weapons and they were confiscated immediately.
