Kathleen Young Anderson, age 81 of Centre, passed away Sunday August 22nd at her residence. Graveside service will be 11:AM Wednesday, August 25th at Cherokee Memory Gardens with Rev. Ricky Pollard officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 7:PM Tuesday at Pine Grove Baptist Church and also from 8:30 until 10:AM Wednesday, at the church. Pallbearers include Adam Parker, Kris Parker, Jonathon Wyres, Jeffrey Knight, Dakota DeBerry, Robert Siebert and Justin Hicks.

Survivors include daughters, Susan Allison of Las Vegas, NV., Karon (Kimball) Parker of Centre, Sharon (Van) Smart of Piedmont and Cindy Wyres of Centre; brother, Ray Young of Alexandria; grandchildren, April (Robert) Siebert, Laura Allison, Adam (Rachel) Parker, Kris (Rachel) Parker, Samantha (Jeffrey) Knight, Kimberly (Justin) Hicks, Sarah (Dakota) DeBerry and Jonathon Wyres; great-grandchildren, Will, Ben and Sam Parker, Mason Siebert and Maisy Knight.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvel Anderson; brother, Harwell Young; sister, Myrtice Trimm. Mrs. Anderson was a native of Cherokee County and the daughter of the late Andrew and Beulah Mae Young and a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.
