SPRING GARDEN – Alle Jennings posted 11 kills, a dig and an ace, and Suzie Carter contributed five kills, four aces and a block to help the Spring Garden Lady Panthers earn a volleyball season-opening sweep over visiting White Plains on Thursday. The scores were 25-6, 25-5, 25-21.

Abbey Steward added 21 assists and a pair of aces. Neely Welsh had a pair of kills and a pair of aces. Brianna Boles tallied four aces, and Ace Austin finished with a pair of kills.

Spring Garden (1-0) plays in a quad match at Pleasant Valley with Oxford and Donoho on Saturday.
