VALLEY HEAD – Gaylesville swept area rival Valley Head in volleyball action on Thursday. The scores were 25-9, 25-6 and 25-7.
Aubrie Peek posted three kills and a pair of aces for the Lady Trojans (1-0). Andreah Calvert collected four aces and a pair of kills. Sydney Smith added four aces and a kill. Emma Givens contributed three aces and an assist. Delaney Coker had a pair of aces. Peyton Bright finished with an ace and an assist.
Gaylesville travels to Asbury on Tuesday.
