A Chattooga County, Georgia woman is facing felony Theft by Taking a Motor Vehicle charges following an incident taking place earlier this month in Rome.
Floyd County Police received a report about a 2004 black Acura RSK, which had been stolen from the parking lot of Floyd Medical Center.
The subsequent investigation eventually led to the arrest of Linda Coleman Laney, 43 of Menlo – she was taken into custody at the Applebee’s Restaurant on Turner-McCall Boulevard in Rome and transported to the Floyd County Jail.
