Mrs. Betty Jo Gaskin Latham, 80, of Cedar Bluff, passed away Saturday, August 15, at her home on Weiss Lake, surrounded by family and friends. Celebration of Life services will be 2:00 pm Sunday August 22, 2021 at Centre First United Methodist Church, Edge Building.

Honorary pallbearers include: Adrian Bouchillon, Brian Bouchillon, Jake Graves, Danny Chesnut, Kevin Turner, Nate Turner, Jarrod Broome, Murphy Klouda, Perry Klouda, Daniel Johnson, and Clint Allen.

Survivors include brother James (Joyce) Gaskin of Huntsville; sister Faye Kennah of Gadsden; daughter Selena (Chris) Conley of Cloudland, Ga., son Hughbert (Carolyn) Latham of Birmingham, and grandchildren; Carter Conley, Cora Conley, Ellie Latham, Gray Latham .

Mrs. Latham was a native of Etowah County. She was preceded in death by her parents Joe and Willene Hill Gaskin of Gadsden, Ala., husband Bert Latham of Centre, Ala., brother, Rick Gaskin of Gadsden, Ala.

She was a member of Centre First United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Centre First United Methodist Church or the Substance Abuse Council
