Piedmont Firefighters were called to the scene of a residential structure fire during the early morning hours of Friday.
According to fire officials, engines 1 and 2 responded and crews began a defensive fire attack while also protecting nearby structures.
Fire crews operated on scene for approximately 3 hours before returning to service.
No injuries to firefighters or civilians were reported.
