We have reports of a vehicle fire on Hale Drive at Highway 411 in Leesburg
That call went out around 7:15am Monday – after a passing motorist reported seeing the vehicle – possibly a Ford F-150 – on fire by the roadside. The motorist stated that something appeared to be on fire in the back of the truck.
Leesburg Police and Fire units quickly responded to the scene, and they removed the contents of the vehicle, which was still smoldering afterwards.
