Mrs. Wanda Faye Barnes, age 57 of Centre, passed away Thursday, July 29th at her brother’s residence.

Funeral services will be at 2:PM Tuesday, August 3rd at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Derek Roberts and Bro. Mark Cosby officiating; burial will follow at Unity Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 until 2:PM Tuesday at the funeral home.

Survivors include sons, Robert Abernathy, Terry Lee (Rhonda) Barnes, Travis (Tabitha) Barnes; daughters, Sylvia (Matthew) McKinney, Danielle (Matthew) Twilley; brothers, James (Debra) Abernathy, Larry (Beverley) Abernathy, Ronald (Debra) Abernathy, Kenneth Abernathy; sister, Helen (Dale) Epps; grandchildren, Keyton, Adriana, Marcus, Devin, Nevaeh, Nathan; great-granddaughter, Eliza Abernathy; special friends, Felicia Word McGatha (Sam) & Betty Martin.

Pallbearers will include, Daniel Blevins, Joshua Blevins, Chris White, Chris Hunter, Adam Abernathy, Donald Barnes, Shane Coheley, Harley Epps.
She is preceded in death by her Husband, Terry Barnes and her sister Kathy (James) McDaniel.

Mrs. Barnes was a native of Cherokee County and the daughter of the late James and Mary Abernathy and was of the Baptist Faith.
