The Floyd County Police department mourns the loss of K9 Officer Rocky. He was 14 when he passed away this weekend.
Rocky was a K9 with explosive specialty. He worked from 2010 to 2015 and retired when his partner Jay Barnett left our agency. Rocky has since been a farm dog.
His favorite hobbies were lounging in the creeks and following his partner on the four wheeler. Rocky’s favorite food was Mayfield ice cream sandwiches.
