A two-vehicle crash occurring late Wednesday afternoon claimed the life of a 67 year old Anniston man.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report – Robert Hopson was fatally injured when the 2015 Hyundai he was a passenger in, was struck around 5:00pm by a 2015 Dodge Ram Truck. That collision took place on Choccolocco Road some four miles west of Anniston.
Hopson was pronounced dead at the scene – no information was available regarding the condition of either driver.
That wreck remains under investigation by state troopers.
