Floyd County Prison Inmate Facing Additional Charges After Failing to Return from Work Release Shift

An inmate at the Floyd County Prison – Felix Tirado, age 54 – is now facing additional charges.

Police say that on February 27th Tirado was scheduled to return to the Work Release Center following his shift – however he failed to do so, and was subsequently charged with Escape.

Tirado was sentenced back in 2015 on charges of robbery, burglary, theft, possession of meth and possession of marijuana; he was scheduled to be released in February of 2022.  Tirado is from Gainesville, Georgia.
