A 32 year old Steele man was arrested on 7/7/2021, for Burglary 3rd, and Theft of Property 1st, both felonies according to Sheriff Jonathon Horton.
Investigator Wesley Smith states Jonathon Garrard (32) is accused of burglarizing a residence on Hwy 278 near Hwy 179 on 6/22/2021. Generators and tools were taken from the garage of the residence. Some of the items have been returned to the victim, Smith said.
At the time of this release, Garrard is currently incarcerated in the Etowah County Detention Center on bonds totaling $7,500.00.
