Two Cherokee County Athletes Invited To Compete In Invite Only National Combine

The 2021 Football University Top Gun is an invite only national football combine July 9-11 in Naples, Fla., where 600 football athletes compete for the chance to play in the All-American Bowl on NBC.

Top Gun will be covered by 24/7 sports showcase coverage and recap report.

Jacob Cornejo is a sophomore at Sand Rock High School Class of 2024 running back position. Jordan Taylor is a freshman at Cedar Bluff High School Class of 2025 wide receiver position.

Cornejo and Taylor earned their invite to Top Gun by competing at various FBU camps this year. The duo also competed at the Rivals Combine in Atlanta on June 19.

They will be evaluated with other players in their graduating classes.
