Mrs. Agnes Frances Mason Gouger

Mrs. Agnes Frances Mason Gouger, age 92 of Centre, passed away Saturday, July 3rd at her residence.

Funeral services will be 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 7th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Timothy L. Smith and Rev. James Rainey officiating; burial will follow in Unity Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Pallbearers include Johnny Knight, Jake Trimm, Chris Wilbourn, Michael Gouger, Ethan Gouger and Nathan Trimm.

Survivors include sons, Terry (Ashley) Gouger of Gadsden and Jamie (April) McGatha of Centre; daughters, Earline Willoughby of Glencoe and Kathy (Larry) Wilson of Centre; 4 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 1 great- great granddaughter and 1 great-great grandson, Phoenix, who was the joy of her life; sister-in-law, Edna Langston of Centre; several nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, J.W. Gouger in 2011; 3 children, Mike, Billy and Jerry Gouger and a grandson, Jason Gouger.

Mrs. Gouger was a native of Dekalb County, but lives most of her life in Cherokee County. She was the daughter and the last living of 13 children of the late John and Ozzie Edgeworth Mason.
