GoFundMe Account Established For Cherokee County Deputy Who Lost His Home To Fire

A GoFundMe account has been setup for a Cherokee County School Resource Officer whose family lost their home to fire Monday night.

Deputy Jamie Parris is assigned as the School Resource Officer (SRO) at Spring Garden School.

Deputy Parris and his wife and children were on a camping trip and were not home when the fire occurred. Tragically, they lost all of their possessions in that fire.

Chief Deputy Josh Summerford said that those who wish to make monetary donations outside of the GoFundMe account can drop off cash or checks at the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on Cedar Bluff Road in Centre (make checks payable to Jamie Parris).
