A two-vehicle collision on County Road 14 in Cherokee County resulted in one person being hurt Monday afternoon; the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report listed the mishap as taking place at 2:55pm just off County Road 31, involving a 2005 Dodge driven by a male resident of Munford, Alabama – listed as receiving injuries in the wreck and a 2019 Ford, driven by a female resident of Piedmont, who fortunately escaped injury.
No additional information regarding the condition of the injured party was available – the Centre Fire Department and Floyd EMS responded to the scene.
That wreck remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
