Rescue Squad personnel, EMA personnel, Tuckers Chapel Firefighters, ALEA Marine Patrol officers and Cherokee County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the scene after a fisherman spotted a vehicle in the lake on County Road 165 in Cedar Bluff on Saturday morning.
Firefighters located the SUV, rescue squad personnel and others conducted a search of the area but were unable to locate anyone. It’s not known at this time exactly how the vehicle got in the lake.
