A Centre man was arrested Tuesday on a number of charges following a number of complaints of possible activity at a location on West Main Street.
According to Centre Police Chief Kirk Blankenship, Investigators Randy Mayorga and Will Clark observed several vehicles frequently coming and leaving the residence in question and conducted a traffic stop on one of the cars.
That stop led police to question those at the residence.
The spoke with 28 years old James Tyler Smith who admitted to having marijuana, spice/synthetic marijuana and numerous items of paraphernalia.
Over 3 ounces of marijuana appeared to be packaged to for resale.
Smith was booked in at the Cherokee County Detention Center on charges of Possession of Controlled Substance and Possession of Marijuana. He was later released after posting a $6000 bond.
