Mr. Douglas Green age 74 of Centre passed away Sunday June6th at Gadsden Regional Hospital.

Funeral services will be 2 PM Tuesday June 8th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brett Clements officiating burial will follow in Hebron Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 until 2 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends. Honorary Pallbearers include Tiny Owens, Harold Wayne Trammell, Russell Brannon, Ronnie Giles and Michael Walker.

Survivors include wife, Loretta “Faye” Green; son, Chip (Joy) Green and Kevin (Tiffany) Green; sisters, Hobby Abernathy, Shirley VanPelt, Judy Roach and Nancy (Larry) Smith; and 3  grandchildren, Brian Green, Josiah Green and Audrey Green.

Mr. Green was a native of Cherokee County and the son of the late Richard and Audrey Jones Green and a member of New Bethel Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to New Bethel Baptist Church.
