Virginia Ann Manley age 83 of Gadsden passed away Friday June 4th at
Riverview Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 3 PM Wednesday June 9th at Perry Funeral
Chapel with Rev. Terry Burke and Rev. Jimmy Dan Clanton officiating
burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will receive
friends from 1 until 3 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be grandchildren and nephews.
Survivors include sons, Wayne (Daphne) Manley, Jerome Manley and James
“Stacy” (Amy) Manley; daughter, Nina (Keith) Burns; brother, Johnny
Elliot; sisters, Carolyn Barnes and Mamie Morgan; 4 grandchildren; 7
great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James McWhorter Manley;
sisters, Kay Brown and Martha Manley.
Mrs. Manley was a native of Alabama and the daughter of the late Russ
and Anice Helms Elliot and was of the Baptist Faith.
