Bogus bills had been used to make a purchase at a Dollar General Store in Chattooga County, Georgia recently. Summerville Police met with company officials at the store on Commerce Street, Monday, regarding a transaction made on Sunday (May 23rd).
According to the report a total of nine $50 bills – totaling $450 – were used to make a purchase; store management first learned the bills were phony after being contacted by the bank, after they had received a deposit from the store.
