According to Sheriff Jeff Shaver, a Rising Fawn, Georgia, man was arrested in connection to a child sexual abuse case investigated by Sheriff’s Office Investigator Leigha Blake.
The suspect, Brock Eric Abercrombie, age 36, was taken into custody on Thursday in Dade County, Georgia, with the assistance of the Dade County Sheriff’s Office, Chattanooga Police Department and the U.S. Marshals.
Cherokee County deputies extradited him to the Cherokee County Detention Center on Wednesday and charged with 20 counts of sexual abuse of a child less than 12. District Judge Wes Mobley, on Friday, set his bond at $1.2 million.
