A Cave Spring woman was placed under arrest in connection with what was called-in as a “robbery” at the Citgo convenience store on the Alabama Highway – however she was soon determined to have been a participant in the crime.
According to Floyd County jail records, 35 year old Brittany Nicole Walters made that call; however, she reportedly knew the suspect and willingly handed over the $2,000.
She was charged with Making a False Report of a Crime, Being a Party to a Crime, and felony Theft by Taking. She was being held Thursday on bond of $7,900.
