The Cherokee Electric Cooperative will electing two Directors for District #1  and District #2 during their upcoming annual meeting set for Saturday at the Cherokee Co-op Main Office on the Chesnut Bypass in Centre.

Registration/Voting will begin at 8:00 a.m. and end at 11:00 a.m., election results will be announced once the votes are counted.

District #1 incumbent Doris Salter will be challenged by Mark Jason Green and District #2 Director Phyllis Hill will be opposed by Ronnie Rogers and Mike Pruitt.

No food will be served, no registration incentives will be distributed and no social meeting area will be available.

Six-foot social distancing and masks wearing are strongly encouraged. Members attending are encouraged to take all reasonable steps to provide for their personal safety concerning COVID-19.
