Cherokee County Arrest Files:

Natalie Nicole Smith, age 34 of Piedmont – Hold for Another Agency;

Benny Brent Bellew, age 46 of Gadsden – Probation Violation and Failure to Appear on prior charges of Probation Revocation;

Timothy David Strickland, age 39 of Gadsden – Bond Revocation, Probation Violation and Failure to Appear on a prior charge of Assault 3rd Degree;

and

Antonio LaWynn Porter, age 34 of Centre – Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Arrests are based on probable cause – all suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Currently there are 87 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
